Case Study: Is your warehouse efficient?

When a nationwide wholesaler asked us to look at their warehousing and storage utilisation we soon found opportunities to increase the available capacity. What was really interesting is that the data allowed us to develop a heat map of activity so not only could we increase the number of pallets that could be stored, we could also highlight areas of inefficiency in the handling, reduce travel times and increase productivity.
